Our Conference Services provides a variety of offerings to the general public including conference and event planning, summer accommodation, food services and meeting rooms designed to suit your various needs. We know that there are more dining options than ever before along with changing food trends that are important to our community. With this in mind, UTSC Food Services aims to offer customer-oriented eateries featuring broad and varied menu choices that are high in quality, cost-conscious, conveniently available and representative of current food trends.

The food and beverage options available at University of Toronto Scarborough are a combination of independent and institutional foodservice providers, overseen by the Business Development division, Food Partnerships as well as foodservice providers overseen by the Scarborough Campus Students' Union (SCSU).

Townhouses
There are two layouts of townhouses which accommodate 4 or 6 people.

Our 4-person townhouses consist of 4 individual (single) bedrooms on the upper floor, each furnished with a twin bed, closet, chest of drawers, desk and chair. There is also a bathroom on the upper floor. On the main floor, there is a living room, kitchen and dining area.

Our 6-person townhouses consist of 4 or 6 bedrooms, with single or double occupancy. Each room is furnished with a twin bed, closet, chest of drawers, desk and chair. (There are two of each in the shared rooms). The townhouse also includes 2 washrooms and a shower room. There is a living room, kitchen and dining area on the main floor.

What's included?
  • Bed linens are provided, however towel service is optional.
  • Kitchen inventory can be supplied at an additional cost.
  • Some of the townhouses are air-conditioned; electric fans can be arranged also.
  • For internet access, guests may obtain a wireless guest account and password at the Front Desk to use in the Residence Centre.
  • There are laundry facilities located at Birch and Grey pine for the townhouses. Guests will require a laundry card from the Front Desk staff (charges apply).
  • Parking is free for those residing on campus; additional guests/vehicles will be asked to pay for parking. For more information on parking please visit our parking website.
Apartments

Our apartment-style residence (Joan Foley Hall) consists of 4 individual bedrooms, each comfortably furnished with a twin bed, closet, chest of drawers, desk with shelves and chair. There are two full bathrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining area in each apartment.

What's included?

  • Bed linens are provided, however towel service is optional.
  • Kitchen inventory can be supplied at an additional cost.
  • The apartments are air-conditioned.
  • The apartments have internet capability, however guests will require an Ethernet cable from the Front Desk (additional charges may apply). Guests may also obtain a wireless guest account and password at the Front Desk to use the internet in the Residence Centre.
  • There are laundry facilities located opposite the common room on each floor in Joan Foley Hall, and in Birch and Grey Pine for guests in the townhouses. Guests will require a laundry card from the Front Desk staff (charges apply).
  • Parking is free for those residing on campus; additional guests/vehicles will be asked to pay for parking.

Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre
During your stay with us, guests may use our Athletics & Recreation facilities. Simply ask for a Conference Services Recreation Pass at the Front Desk to gain access to the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. (Guests must be 18 years of age or older).

Our Conference Services Staff are here to help you through the process of planning your event by liaising with all University of Toronto Scarborough departments to give you a successful and memorable conference.
