The University of California Riverside is centrally located in beautiful Southern California, a relatively short drive away from mountains, beaches, theme parks, resorts, casinos and world-class golf. Our Conference, Event & Catering Services team is a “One-Stop-Shop” that provides a meeting space, catering, along with additional services that may be needed to plan your event.
The University of California, Riverside contains multiple spaces of varying capacities, making the venue suitable to host groups of almost any size. Citrus Grove Catering at UC Riverside, the venue’s exclusive caterer, provides excellent on-site service for your catering needs ranging breakfast and coffee, receptions, cocktail parties, and formal dinners. Meeting & Event Spaces
Pentland Hills Bear Cave
The Bear Cave is a multi-purpose room available for set-up in many styles. Conveniently located within Pentland Hills residential housing area and close to other residential housing facilities for easy access, with parking close by.
Pentland Hills break out meeting rooms
There are a number of classroom-style meeting areas for conference group use, conveniently located within the Pentland Hills housing community, and just steps away from other residential facilities.
Glen Mor meeting room C-001
C-001 is a media ready room with a small open foyer for catering needs, and is conveniently located within our Glen Mor Apartments community. Equipped with a large screen, white board and projector, it is a pre-set, ready-to-go meeting space for groups of 20 to 40 people.
UCR Alumni & Visitors Center
The Alumni & Vistors Center is our premier wedding and event location, and is excellent for workshops, conferences and other types of special events. The facility also includes break-out meeting spaces, with an high-tech executive board room for more private meetings. The building is also equiped with the latest in media and technical devices, and can accommodate your every event need.
Alumni & Visitors Center Dining Room
The Alumni & Visitors Center Dining Room at our Alumni & Visitors Center is situated on the lower level of the building, which provides easy accessiblity, and allows adquate privacy for your event. The location can provide seating for up to 120 people (depending on configuration), and is equipped with two screens, projector and sound capabilities.
UCR Alumni & Visitors Center — Johnson Board Room
The Johnson Board Room is a high-tech, media-savvy room. It's fully equipped with a large screen, projector, table and laptop computer connections, high-speed Internet access and is equipped with microphones and electric connections built into the boardroom tables themselves.
Pentland Hills Fox Hole
The Pentland Hills Fox Hole is a multi-purpose room available for set-up in many styles. Located within the Pentland Hills residential community, and steps away from other residential housing facilities. It is a very functional space for many types of meetings. It is similar to the Bear Cave, but has a small kitchen attached for easy clean up of events.
Aberdeen-Inverness Residential Restaurant
(Available summers only) Massive open room can be set up in a variety of ways, including a mixture of meeting and dining areas. Room features 25-foot ceilings for large booths and/or product displays. Located within the Aberdeen-Inverness Residence Hall.
Alumni & Visitors Center — Meeting Rooms 1 & 2
Meeting rooms 1 and 2 are smaller break-out rooms in conjunction with the Redmond Dining Room. Room dividers provide two seperate areas for workshops or additional meeting space
Alumni & Visitors Center — Patio and Veranda
The AVC Patio and Veranda is a picturesque outdoor venue, adjacent to the Redmond Dining Room. Great for wedding ceremonies, receptions and other functions, it has the best of what Southern California has to offer for outside venues.
Outdoor Locations
The University has several outdoor areas, patios and lawns that can accommodate meetings, meals and special events. Outdoor facility reservation may have specific restrictions depending upon the location and time of day. Citrus Grove Catering can accommodate all of your catering needs inside or outside, and provides the same excellent service!
Lothian Residential Restaurant
(Available summers only) Large facility features several eating areas, including a small stage area, allowing easy set-up for mixed uses. Located within the Lothian Residence Hall.

Lothian Residential Restaurant
The Lothian dining center has an Italian atmosphere with bistro-style tables, a wonderful outdoor patio area, and great menu options including grilled favorites
Aberdeen-Inverness Residential Restaurant
The A-I dining center is an all-you-care-to-eat venue, designed for maximum throughput. The kitchen features a rotating menu of all-American favorites and specialty ethnic cuisines that will satisfy everyone in your group.
Retail Dining at the Highlander Union Building (The HUB)
Located in the center of campus, this modern food court features quick and easy meals from local favorites and national chains such as Panda Express and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. A huge patio area allows for alfresco dining.
Convenience Stores
These small, general-purpose markets offer packaged goods and freshly prepared sandwiches, soups, salads and gourmet treats. Several markets feature hot foods. Every residential housing community features its own "C-store." In addition, there's a C-Store at The HUB.
The Barn Restaurant
The Barn is one of our most historical locations. Originally a barn when the campus was in its beginning stages, it has been remodeled into a quaint restaurant, providing an entertainment stage venue, with a wonderful outdoor patio.
The Culinary Chameleon
The Culinary Chameleon </a>is our very own food truck. Operated by Dining Services, it offers a Latin-themed menu in unique locations around the UCR campus. Also available for private functions.

HUB2Go is food that ready packed, and ready to go for your convenience. From pizza to platters to sandwiches, your choices are abundant. And it's easy to arrange, with online ordering and pick up at the HUB2Go station in The HUB Food Court. We can even arrange delivery in many cases. HUB2Go is an easy and convenient solution for office events, small get togethers, or even for a group study time.
Breakfast Options
From a continental to a full served breakfast, Citrus Grove Catering has what you need for your morning refreshment. Fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins and eggs are just the beginning of your choices — any of which will provide a great opening to the start of your day, meeting or event.

Hot or cold, small or large, Citrus Grove provides lunch service just the way you like it. We can accommodate your meal service anywhere on campus, while providing friendly and helpful service.
Dinner Options
Providing dinner menu items for the person with a selective palate, Citrus Grove Catering can design a special menu centered around your specific event. Please feel free to meet with one of our representatives to create that special menu.
Weddings at UCR
Wedding receptions and ceremonies can be held at our Alumni & Visitors Center, the Culver Center of the Arts and other campus locations. Our wedding menu and information packet will provide you with all the information you need for planning your very special day. Don't forget anniversaries, birthdays and other celebrations!
Ceremony venue
The UCR Alumni & Visitors Center Patio and Veranda is a perfect location for the small to mid-size wedding ceremony. It is a secluded location, behind the Alumni & Visitors Center building, adjacent to our Arroyo nature area, providing a calm and serene outdoor experience.
UCR Wedding Receptions
Our Alumni & Visitors Center can host receptions up to 100 people, including a dance floor and D.J., with table layouts arranged to your specifications. The Culver Art Center location can accommodate up to 150 people. Food and beverage service can be provided by Citrus Grove Catering at both locations.
HUB2Go Box Lunches
Need a dozen box lunches for that last-minute meeting? Need 2,000 box lunches for your big event? Either way, the HUB2Go will help you make all of the arrangements and make it happen.

Three Tiered Pricing Structure Package
The University offers a three tiered structure package for overnight groups that includes housing, linen and meals.
Standard Housing Package
Lothian and Aberdeen Inverness halls are typical residential type rooms, with communal hallway restrooms.
Deluxe Housing Package
Our deluxe package includes our Pentland Hills location, providing suite bath accommodations.
Apartment Housing Package
Glen Mor Apartments provide an apartment style living experience. The apartments have 4 single rooms, two baths, with a small kitchen and living area.
