The building features remarkable Japanese-inspired architecture to complement the pristine Japanese Gardens.

The building boasts a stunning second floor banquet/reception hall with breathtaking cedar beams and panoramic views of the Gorge Waterway.

The new Esquimalt Gorge Pavilion is located at 1070 Tillicum Road in the Esquimalt Gorge Park where it borders the Gorge Waterway and neighbours the expanded Japanese Garden. The Pavilion is a wonderful space for weddings, vow renewals, celebrations of life, conferences, and reunions to name a few.
Sitting at 6000+ sq ft the Pavilion covers 2 floors, both with stunning views of the water. Each floor contains 3000 sq ft of rentable space along with a servery that includes prep counters, residential fridge, range, dishwasher and sink. The outer walls of the second floor have ceiling to floor windows overlooking the park and water way, as well as access to two balconies; one of which is 500sq ft and over looks the Japanese Gardens. The first floor can be divided into smaller sections of 1000 sq ft creating 3 separate rooms, each having access to the outer patio, and an additional boardroom with a sink and bar fridge.

Pavilion general hours:
M-F: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Weekends: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

3000 sq ft rooms:

• 120 banquet seating
• 150 theater or classroom seating

1000 sq ft rooms:

• 40 banquet seating
• 50 theatre or classroom seating

Boardroom:

• 20 people (conference table can seat up to 12 with additional chairs for 8)

Amenities:

• 2 serveries each containing a residential fridge, range, dishwasher, and sink
• Secured loading dock
• 3 outdoor food truck hook-ups
• 500 sq ft storage space
• Parking stalls for 100 vehicles

Full facility bookings will be accepted starting January 1 for the following calendar year with a $500 non-refundable deposit. Individual room bookings will be accepted 6 months before the date of request with a $100 non-refundable deposit.
