Perched on 709 acres atop scenic Sugar Mountain, North Carolina, Lutherock Retreat Center blends beautiful wilderness property with comfortable, well-furnished accommodations, near Boone, North Carolina. Just 1.5 hours from Asheville and 2 hours from Charlotte, this is the ideal setting for team-building, corporate meetings, family gatherings, religious meetings, youth events, and more.

Lutherock features the Crow’s Nest, a facility that provides private accommodations for meetings, presentations, dining, and overnight stays. Moretz Cabin provides a blend between the luxury of the Crow’s Nest and the “rustic” feel of other cabins. It provides four bunkrooms with a common area and kitchen that can be used by the group in a number of ways. For the most rustic feel, cabins are also available!

Crow's Nest
There is a meeting room, large lounge area with a wood-burning fireplace, large windows overlooking the mountains, a dining room, and a light industrial kitchen.
Moretz Lodge
The Moretz Lodge features a central gathering room with a full kitchen. The Lodge also has a comfortable deck and is open year-round.
Founder's Lodge
The Founder's Lodge features a main room with a wood burning fireplace and a light industrial kitchen. An open-air pavilion with a built-in grill is located off the back of the Founder's Lodge

Dining Services
As part of the Lutherock experience, many groups prepare their own meals as part of their weekend to help build community. Aside from the cabins in the Village, all housing facilities are equipped with a kitchen. The Crow's Nest and the Founder's Lodge both have light industrial kitchens.

Crow's Nest
The Crow's Nest is not what you might expect to find at a wilderness camp. This year-round, two-story retreat center has fifteen rooms with private baths and heating.

Mortez Lodge
The Moretz Lodge is built as a quad cabin with four separate sleeping areas, each sleeping 10 people on five sets of single bunk beds. Each sleeping area also has its own private shower and bathroom.

Founder's Lodge
Formerly known as the Main Lodge, the Founder's Lodge is a dormitory style facility with two sleeping areas (accommodating 24 each). Each bedroom is equipped with a bathroom with several shower stalls.
Stone Lodge
Stone Lodge is a heated house accommodating up to 15 people. The bottom floor has two bedrooms sleeping up to four people and a carpeted loft for sleeping bags. Renovated in 2009.

Lutherock Cabin Village
The Lutherock Cabin Village has eight cabins, each accommodating 10 people. Each cabin has an open sleeping area and a bathroom with a shower. One cabin is handicapped accessible. These cabins are not heated and are open seasonally: April 1st through November 1st.
