Lakehead University Residence offers three styles of accommodations. You have the option to choose from either dormitory, townhouse (basic and fully equipped) or apartment style (basic and fully equipped). All room rates are per night, plus taxes (13%) and are subject to availability. DORMITORY STYLE ROOMS Each dormitory-style house has three floors in which the rooms are divided into furnished basic single and single rooms. All houses are equipped with a furnished lounge with TV and microwave, a study room, separate male and female washrooms, and a card access laundry facility. Each bedroom also contains a mini refrigerator. Basic Single dorm room: $45 per night Single dorm room: $50 per night APARTMENTS (Minimum 2 night stay) Low-rise, apartment-style units offering four individual bedrooms. Each unit is fully furnished, complete with storage room (vacuum, mop, bucket, broom and dustpan), full kitchen (fridge, stove, freezer, microwave, and dining table), four-piece bath, and powder room. For your comfort, these apartment units are air-conditioned. Card access laundry rooms with an iron and ironing board are located in the lounge on your floor. Barrier-free units are available upon request and availability. All apartments come equipped with TV/cable, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster and 4 coffee cups. TOWNHOUSE (Minimum 2 night stay) Townhouses are made up of four single bedroom units. All units feature a main floor full size kitchen, living room, dining room and patio area. The living room contains a TV with basic cable. The second floor contains a four-piece bathroom and four bedrooms. Telephones are located in each bedroom as well as one located in the dining area. Accessible townhouse units are one level for ease of mobility featuring three or four main floor single bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, and patio area. Every unit is supplied with a vacuum, mop, bucket, broom, and dustpan. The laundry room is located in a separate building in the Phase. An iron and ironing board are located in each laundry room. All Townhouse units will have: coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster and 4 coffee cups. Fully equipped units come with pots, pans, plates, utensils, and cooking materials. Basic Apartment or Townhouse units (Minimum 2 night stay required): $145 per unit per night; $700 per unit per week Fully Equipped Apartment or Townhouse units (Minimum 2 night stay required): $200 per unit per night; $740 per unit per week Allow us to customize discounted rates for you based on the size of your conference, sports team, motor coach group, church group or family reunion.
