Testimonials

  • Conference Services was instrumental in organizing the 2014 OAIE Conference. Your expertise and attention to detail allowed the organizers (Nancy and I) to participate in conference activities and focus on connecting with our guests. The feedback we received was tremendous and certainly a reflection of how well we were supported by your department. We were impressed by the seamless transition as Angela went on leave and you moved into the role - rather than having to start from square one, we were able to continue planning as if there was no change in lead. The International Department will certainly make use of your services for future events - I can't imagine coordinating an event without your support. Many, many thanks. Madeline Anderson, OAIE 2014

  • I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and all of your team for delivering a very successful Decorating Day event. Special thanks to Conference Services who persevered with our budget restraints and constant requests. It was truly a great day!
    Marlene Mitchelmore, Decorating Day 2014

  • On behalf of the Town and Gown Association of Ontario I wish to thank you for your assistance during the planning and delivery of the Annual TGAO Symposium held in Barrie. Your willingness to share your time and professional expertise to make this event a tremendous success and one which delegates will remember, was greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank Georgian College for their overall support of this event. The partnership the City of Barrie shares with Georgian College greatly benefits the local community.
Brenda – on behalf of The Town and Gown Association of Ontario

  • Conference and Event Services were incredibly helpful and precise in organizing my event. They were able to quickly and effectively take care of all the details that surrounded the event and were always available to ensure everything went off without a hitch. They were very professional, accommodating and provided fantastic customer service. It was a pleasure working with them organizing and planning my events.
Joe Lauzon, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist

  • On behalf of Lake Country Harmony I wish to thank you for the excellent support you gave us at our Harmony, Inc., Area 5 Convention. You handled our small emergencies efficiently and with good humor. Everyone was most complimentary of our accommodation, hospitality room and the theatre. Once again, thank you for your part in making sure everything ran smoothly at our convention.
    Joan – Co-Convener – Lake County Harmony

  • Thanks to the facilities at Georgian College, the Ontario Horticultural Association had a wonderful convention at the College. I really can’t say enough about the staff connected to our convention. Conference & Event Services helped me pick the venue and guided me through all the trials and tribulations of planning and organizing a 2-day convention for 400 delegates from across Ontario. They arranged our accommodations with Georgian Summer Suites and coordinated our activities with the Student Life Centre for meeting space and the Last Class for food service. I was really very proud of Georgian College and was happy to show my college off to the delegates of the convention. The work ethic and the downright niceness of the personnel was matchless. I was happy to say that I had once been associated with an organization that included so many caring and personable people. If ever I do a large event again, Georgian will be my place of choice.
Carol – Vice President – Ontario Horticultural Association
