One of our popular exhibits, The Fels Planetarium, is the perfect choice for weddings, cocktail receptions, galas, concerts, mitzvah’s and corporate events. With up to 300 guests for reception style and 200 seated, planners can customize the content and lighting on an overhead dome theater which is a fitting way to enjoy a night under the stars.

The newest addition is the Elaine Levitt and Joel Gershman Education and Conference Center, which features state-of-the-art meeting space surrounded by an outstanding terrace and rain garden. Included with the conference center are audio-visual equipment, private break-out meeting rooms and a convenient business lounge.

Benjamin Franklin National Memorial
Franklin Hall, our main reception space, is home to the only national monument outside of Washington DC that allows catered events. Guests will enjoy cocktails in our exhibit spaces, The Giant Heart, Changing Earth, Electricity or Your Brain. Once guests have finished their cocktails while enjoying our many hands-on interactives, they are brought into Franklin Hall, where they can enjoy a program or seated dinner under the magnificent 20 foot statue of Benjamin Franklin. The Franklin Memorial is made of Italian marble, set under our 82 foot domed ceiling and gold gilded Oculus. Franklin Hall also has four 16x9 screens in each corner of the room that allows you the opportunity to showcase your own images, logo, video or streamed content.

Laureates Conference Center
The Laureates Conference Center is IACC certified and has its own private rain garden entrance. The Laureates Conference Center is a part of The Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pavilion, a 53,000-square-foot building expansion that opened this past June 2014. The Laureates Conference Center offers onsite parking, a dedicated concierge service, as well as a continuous break space. Our onsite amenities, excellent customer service and award winning catering by FROG Commissary, will ensure that your event becomes one stop-shopping for the perfect meeting. The Laureates Conference Center features state of the art technology and video conferencing abilities. These are just a few of the ways that our space can logistically set your meeting apart. The beautiful terrace and tranquil rain garden right outside of your meeting space will visually make the venue and your event unrivalled. The rain garden is a part of the museum’s continuing effort to be among one of the most green and environmentally responsible museums in the city.

Fels Planetarium
The Fels Planetarium is the country’s second oldest planetarium. Enjoy a night under the stars, as you impress your guests with pictures of a special night sky or a tour of the solar system, while displaying your own images and logos on our domed theater.
